We are delighted to welcome you to Plump Aesthetic Clinic. Our team of clinicians, nurses and practitioners are here to support your skin, wellness and aesthetic goals through a thoughtful, considered approach. Please take a few minutes to read this before your first visit.

Before your appointment

Complete your forms. Please complete all medical and consultation forms before you arrive, and at least 48 hours ahead where possible. This protects your time with your practitioner for discussion, assessment, education and treatment.

Arrive with clean skin. We ask that you arrive make-up free wherever you can. We understand you may be coming from work or other commitments, but arriving without make-up or topical products lets us begin promptly and spend your time on your care rather than on cleansing.

Eat and hydrate. Please have a nourishing meal well ahead of your treatment and arrive well hydrated. This supports your comfort, particularly for injectable, skin and lymphatic treatments.

Planning your treatment

Every treatment at Plump is designed around your individual goals, health and wellbeing. When you are planning, please keep the following in mind.

Maintaining your result depends on the health of the skin underneath it, which is why we recommend medical-grade retinols, vitamin C, antioxidants and peptide or growth factor serums alongside your treatment plan, particularly if you are peri or post menopausal.

During your appointment

Please attend alone. Your time in clinic is private and dedicated entirely to your care. The presence of others can detract from that focus and, during treatments involving devices, sharps or prescription medicines, can pose a safety concern. It also protects the experience of other patients in the clinic. If you need a carer or support person with you for accessibility or health reasons, please call us in advance on 0478 844 048 so we can make suitable arrangements.

Plump is strictly an adults-only clinic. We do not treat anyone under the age of 18 under any circumstances, and we are unable to have anyone under 18 in the clinic at all, whether or not they are attending for treatment.

Our approach. Please attend with an open mind, and trust that our team is professionally and ethically bound to provide only treatments that are safe, clinically appropriate and beneficial for you. Your treatment plan, product selection or dosing may vary between appointments depending on your health, your skin and your progress, and pricing may vary accordingly. Your practitioner reserves the right to decline or modify a treatment where it is not clinically indicated, and will always provide an alternative recommendation so that you leave with the safest path forward.

When you arrive

We are on a busy stretch of Chapel Street, so our door stays closed and our reception team will open it for you when you arrive. At times reception may be briefly unattended while our receptionist is completing other duties, or while your practitioner is finishing a treatment.

If you arrive early, we kindly ask that you wait until your scheduled appointment time so the privacy and comfort of the patient in session is protected. If you need to wait inside for accessibility or health reasons, please let us know when you book.

Your medical history and consent

Your health changes, and the safest way to treat you changes with it. Before every cosmetic appointment, not only your first, you will be asked to complete an updated medical health questionnaire and a current treatment consent form. This applies even if you completed one recently. It is a requirement of safe practice and of our informed consent obligations as registered health practitioners, and it is not a formality we are able to skip.

Please tell your practitioner before treatment begins if anything has changed, including new medications or supplements, pregnancy or breastfeeding, recent illness or infection, vaccinations, dental work, or any cosmetic or medical treatment you have had elsewhere.

Clinical photography

Clinical photography forms part of your medical record for skin and injectable treatments. Images document your baseline, track your response over time and guide your ongoing treatment plan. They are stored securely as part of your confidential health record.

Your clinical images are never shared, published or used for marketing, education or social media without your separate, explicit written consent. That consent is entirely optional, has no bearing on your treatment, and you may decline it or withdraw it at any time.

Deposits, cancellations and attendance

A deposit is required to secure every appointment, and is deducted from your treatment cost on the day or rolled over to your next appointment. We ask for more than 48 hours notice to change or cancel.

Our full booking, cancellation and attendance policy, including notice periods, fees and what happens if you are unwell, is set out here: Booking, Cancellation and Attendance Policy

Privacy and health records

Your personal and health information is collected, stored and handled in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Your clinical records are kept confidential and retained as required by law. You may request access to the information we hold about you at any time. Our full Privacy Policy is available on this site.

We are honoured to be part of your skin and wellness journey. Thank you for trusting the team at Plump Aesthetic Clinic with your care.
