Plump is home to all things skin – run by medical professionals versed in skin health and ethical medical aesthetics, for anyone looking to be and feel the best version of themselves.
Whatever you're working with – dehydration, breakouts, pigmentation, the early signs of ageing, or skin that's simply asking for more attention – our team takes a considered, whole-person approach to get you there.

Dehydrated skin occurs when the skin lacks sufficient water content, often leaving it feeling tight and uncomfortable. It can affect any skin type — including oily skin — and is commonly caused by harsh or incorrect skincare products, weather changes, environmental stress or internal factors. Dehydration is often linked to an impaired barrier function and transepidermal water loss. Dry skin, on the other hand, is a skin type characterised by a lack of natural oil, which can leave the skin feeling rough, flaky and sometimes irritated — often due to genetics or environmental factors.
We always recommend a skin consultation so our team of medical professionals can get to know you and your skin and provide a treatment plan that best suits you.

Skin ageing is a natural process characterised by visible changes in texture, tone and elasticity. As we age, the skin’s ability to produce collagen and elastin diminishes, leading to fine lines, wrinkles, sagging and loss of volume. While ageing is inevitable, a consistent skincare routine and clinical treatments can help maintain a youthful appearance and reduce visible signs.

A healthy glow is wonderful, but persistent flushing and redness can be something more. Rosacea is a common skin condition that causes redness, visible blood vessels and, in later stages, acne-like breakouts. While it can’t be cured, the right skincare routine and clinical treatments can make a meaningful difference in managing symptoms.

Let’s talk about pigmentation – because most of us have it. Whether it’s a few freckles, sunspots or darker patches, pigmentation is a common part of everyone’s skin story. It occurs when pigment-producing cells produce an excess of pigment, creating uneven patches or discolouration. Not all pigmentation is the same.
TYPES OF PIGMENTATION
Sunspots: small brown spots commonly found on the face, hands and shoulders, which tend to darken with sun exposure.
Melasma: brown or greyish patches on the face, usually symmetrical across the cheeks, forehead and upper lip. Often triggered by hormonal changes such as pregnancy or birth control, and worsened by sun exposure and heat.
Post-inflammatory Hyperpigmentation (PIH): pigmentation that appears after injury or inflammation from acne, rashes or cuts. The skin darkens during the healing process, leaving a mark once the skin heals.
Freckles (Ephelides): typically genetic; small tan to light-brown spots that become more visible with sun exposure.

Acne scars are classified as permanent textural changes. When the skin is inflamed by acne, the body triggers its wound-healing response – and during this process, tissue can be damaged and collagen lost, resulting in depressed scars.

Scarring is a natural part of the body’s healing process. Scars can result from injury, acne or surgery and are unique to each person. At Plump, we can help support skin healing and reduce the visible appearance of scars.
TYPES OF SCARS
Hypertrophic Scars: raised scars that do not extend beyond the site of the original injury.
Atrophic Scars (depressed scars): typically the result of acne, chickenpox or other skin conditions. These scars sit below the skin surface and create uneven texture.
Contracture Scars: occur when the skin tightens as it heals, often after severe burns. These scars can restrict movement and affect skin flexibility.
Surgical Scars: result from incision wounds and vary in size and appearance depending on the surgical site.

A progressive, results-driven skin treatment designed to calm, prepare, and rejuvenate the skin through a combination of LED therapy, gentle resurfacing, and advanced microneedling.
Your treatment begins with LED light therapy to help reduce inflammation, support healthy skin function, and optimise the skin prior to treatment. A gentle superficial peel is then applied to lightly exfoliate and smooth the skin, enhancing the penetration and effectiveness of active ingredients.
Advanced microneedling techniques are used to create controlled micro-channels within the skin, stimulating the body's natural repair response and promoting collagen and elastin production. This process helps strengthen the skin, refine texture, improve tone, and support overall skin health.
By stimulating your skin's own collagen production, microneedling can reduce the appearance of fine lines, acne scarring, pigmentation, and other textural concerns while improving firmness and radiance. The treatment also supports the management of scarring, including acne-related and post-surgical scars.
This treatment is ideal as a standalone option for those looking to improve overall skin quality, texture, tone, and function, while addressing visible signs of ageing, dehydration, pigmentation, and scarring. Or, for enhanced results, a customised medical-grade booster infusion can be added to target your specific concerns. Options include hydration, brightening, anti-ageing, and regenerative therapies such as PDRN or Exosomes. These advanced formulations are delivered through the micro-channels created during treatment, enabling deeper penetration of active ingredients while supporting skin repair and rejuvenation.

Not all peels are created equal, and not all skin needs the same level of intervention. We've grouped our peels into three tiers, so you can find the right starting point for your skin, your goals, and your comfort with downtime.
A prior consultation is required for all Tier Two and Tier Three peels to confirm suitability and design the right protocol for your skin.
These very superficial peels are ideal for first-time clients, those who are peel-shy, have sensitive skin, or have limited downtime available. They're designed to gently exfoliate, refresh dull skin, and support overall skin health and function.
Tier One peels are also commonly used to prepare and prime the skin before more advanced procedures such as skin needling, laser treatments, or higher-tier peel programs.
Best suited for:
Tier Two peels are the next step for patients seeking more targeted correction and visible results. These are often recommended for clients who've previously had a Tier One peel, or who are already familiar with professional skin treatments and active skincare.
These superficial peels provide a greater level of skin stimulation and may involve mild downtime such as dryness, flaking or light peeling.
Best suited for:
Our most advanced and results-focused peel treatments. Tier Three peels are designed for patients seeking a higher level of correction and skin transformation. This category includes advanced peel formulations – such as TCA, Jessner and specialised pigment peels – which offer greater skin stimulation and corrective potential than our Tier One and Two options.
These treatments are typically recommended for patients targeting more complex concerns such as pigmentation, acne scarring, significant sun damage, uneven skin texture and visible signs of ageing. Patients may progress to Tier Three after completing a series of lower-tier peels, or where their skin condition and treatment history suggest they're ready for a higher level of correction.
Best suited for:
A medical approach to investigating and integrating holistic interventions that support your skin in ways that go beyond standard skincare and treatments.
Whatever your skin concern – longstanding or new – our medical professionals are here to guide and support you holistically. We consider external, lifestyle and internal health factors, going beyond the surface of the skin.
We assess your specific concern and go deeper than in-clinic treatments and homecare alone. Our team prescribes lifestyle changes where appropriate, alongside naturopathic-grade supplements proven to ease symptoms and elicit genuine change.
Plump has partnered with incredible practitioners – and where we can’t provide the support needed within our walls, we refer to trusted external providers we have experience collaborating with. Teamwork makes the dream work, and long-term results are always the goal.

We didn't rush this.
Before a single device entered our clinic, we listened to our patients, to the research, and to our own skin. We tested, we questioned, and we were selective.
We spent time researching the market, testing devices, and listening to what our patients actually need. What came out the other side is a considered edit of the latest, most effective technologies.
What we've chosen is different. Carefully sourced, clinically proven, and built around real results, for real skin.
Clearer, more even skin – designed to address what's beneath the surface.
IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) is a non-invasive light-based skin treatment designed to target a range of skin concerns, including pigmentation, redness, uneven tone, and the visible signs of sun exposure. At Plump, IPL sessions are performed by our experienced dermal clinicians, tailored to your skin type and concerns.
Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) technology uses carefully calibrated pulses of broad-spectrum light delivered to the skin's surface. Different wavelengths of light are absorbed by different targets, pigment (melanin) and visible redness (haemoglobin), allowing the treatment to address a range of concerns in one session.
At Plump, we have developed alongside the manufacturer Lumenis our own bespoke protocols for ensuring our patients' best comfort, results and skin maintenance.
IPL is sometimes referred to as a 'photofacial' or 'photorejuvenation'. It's a non-ablative treatment, meaning it works beneath the surface without disrupting the skin's outer layer — making it suitable for a range of skin types when assessed correctly.
During your session, a handheld device is passed over the treatment area, delivering controlled pulses of light to the skin. The light energy is absorbed by the targeted pigment or vascular concern, which the skin then processes naturally over the days following treatment.
Multiple sessions are typically recommended to achieve the most considered outcome – your clinician will advise on a schedule based on your skin assessment and individual concerns.
Your first IPL appointment begins with a thorough skin assessment and consultation with your dermal clinician. This allows us to select the appropriate settings for your skin type, discuss your concerns, and confirm that IPL is well suited for you.
During treatment, you may notice a mild snapping or warming sensation as the light pulses are delivered. Sessions are generally well tolerated and typically take between 30 and 60 minutes, depending on the area being treated.
In the days following treatment, you may notice pigmentation appearing to darken temporarily before it naturally lifts, this is a normal part of the process. Your clinician will walk you through what to expect before your first session.
IPL works well as part of a broader skin treatment plan. Our dermal clinician can advise on how to sequence IPL alongside chemical peels, skin needling, or injectable treatments for a considered, layered approach to skin health.

All IPL treatments begin with a personalised skin assessment. Book your consultation with our dermal team to explore whether IPL is right for your skin.
Treatment suitability is assessed at consultation and varies between individuals – results are never guaranteed. Treatment pricing is provided at consultation, or available when booking online. If you ever have a concern about your treatment or experience with us, please contact our clinic on 0478 844 048 or hello@plumpaestheticclinic.com.au.
